Our application status checker allows you to confirm whether we have received your licence application and to check on its progress.
The service gives an 'at-a-glance' indication of where your application is in the licensing process. It also provides detailed information that explains exactly what is happening with your application - for example:
- "Your application was received on [DATE]. We are currently making sure you have provided all the information we need. We aim to process correctly completed applications within five weeks."
- "Your application was incomplete. A letter was sent on [DATE] which explains what information we require to resolve this. We have not taken payment for your application."
The status checker can also tell you if we have made a decision on whether to grant you a licence - and if we have, it will tell you what that decision is. If we have granted your licence it will even give you your licence number.
